Sohini Banerjee is a Kolkata-born, London-based chef who has been feeding diners at her supper club, Smoke and Lime, since 2018. She highlights Bengali cooking methods, bringing the wisdom of her ancestors with her into the present day.

Although her typical style borrows from pantries across the world - be it Japan, Mexico, Korea, Spain or beyond - this special menu will harness the beauty of Bengal's seasonal, regional produce sourced by amar khamar.

In so doing, Sohini aims to bring her personality to traditional Bengali dishes. This event marks her first foray into Kolkata's food scene and she hopes to provide some of the joy and comfort from her 10-person home supper club in a new setting.
